I've been using my Eco8 as a platform for doing aerial photography. If the heli is setup correctly, there will not be much vibration. There may still be some, causing the photos to be a bit blurred, but with the low resolution of the current camera (1.3Mpixel), I've not noticed it. The vibration will probably show up with the higher resolution camera I am preparing to use.
Here is the pen camera and its mount. The servo is used to trigger the shutter.
I used the servo because I borrowed the camera and I didn't want to
damage it by trying to add a switch to the shutter button.
Here it is mounted on my Eco8. I just use rubber bands
to attach the camera mount to the battery. I can't fly with the canopy
when taking pictures. Not having a canopy makes it harder to see the
orientation of the heli during flight, so I can't let it get too far away when
taking pictures.
And finally, some of the pictures. The flag pole in the first
and last
photos looks bent and shows what happens when the heli is yawing
when the picture is snapped.
